Who
From an early age, Gary Schott has been fascinated with understanding how things work mechanically. Encouraged by his parents, and mentors, artistic expression became a mainstay throughout his youth, eventually leading to multiple career paths. However, it was while earning his undergraduate degree in studio art that he was introduced to metalsmithing and the genres of automata and kinetic art - all of which greatly inspired and continue to strongly influence Schott's work and his creative process.
